Vintage 1920's Glass Paperweight. Niagara Falls "Shadow of the Rock" New York. Depicted in image is the historic "Maid of the Mist" ferry boat docked at the Prospect Point Incline Railway between 1895-1907. There was a very serious accident on the railway in 1907 which resulted in a fatality. The railway was removed in 1908. Very good condition. There are some minor scratches and some minor scuff marks on the top and around the edges. There is also a small chip on the bottom and another very tiny chip on the top of the weight, bottom left corner. Overall excellent condition. Very clean & displayable. Colours are vibrant and the glass is glossy and shiny. Scarce paper weight. Good addition to any vintage paperweight collection. Measures approx- 1/2" of an inch in height, 4" inches in length, 2 1/2" inches in width. No maker's mark. PRICE: $30.00 This item can be shipped at your convenience.
