YMP Facilitator

As a YMP Facilitator, your role is far from average and this is so much more than a simple summer job. The youth you inspire this summer may be tomorrow's leaders and business owners. They will use the skills you helped them discover and develop to grow into their full potential. In this role you are not only doing a job. You are literally changing young lives for the better and opening their eyes to the many possibilities and opportunities available to them. Key responsibilities of a YMP Facilitator: ● being a positive and supportive role model ● presenting workshops to youth based on the YMP Curriculum ( workshops are provided and may be adapted for your region. The lessons, concepts & workshop themes cannot be changed ) ● performing site visits to participants ● maintain accurate and detailed notes on participant progress, regional events, workshops & attendance for the Final Report requested at program closure. ( each region has their own section to complete ) ● maintain contact with participants & parents ● provide photos and business information, including contact information & social media link to business page if applicable to the central office for the purpose of being added to YMP social media ● coordinate with Provincial Coordinator for group events ● canvassing local businesses for sponsorship, donations or mentorship ● create participant business cards or submit participant information to central office to create business cards. It sounds like a lot, but it is mostly being a supportive person to your participants. Don't forget that your Regional Coordinators and the Provincial Coordinator are here to help every step of the way to provide templates, ideas, solutions and support. We are a team.
