Construction Labourer

Prebilt Structures is an integrated construction company serving clients in Prince Edward Island and across Atlantic Canada. Through its structural steel business, Prebilt works with the largest general contractors in the region to deliver a diverse range of buildings, including schools, car dealerships, a cannabis plant and other manufacturing facilities. Through its residential construction business, Prebilt builds single family and semi-detached homes within the Charlottetown area. With its sister company, Mullache Properties, Prebilt is developing Windsor Park, the largest subdivision in the West Royalty neighborhood of Charlottetown. The rapid growth in Prebilt’s residential business has led to an opening for a Construction Labourer on the Prebilt team. Some of the general duties of this position include the following: • Framing of roof trusses, floor joists and walls, primarily in our prefabrication facility • Assisting with the installation of roof trusses, floor joists and walls onsite as needed. • Assisting with interior trim work, interior doors, window, door trim and baseboard as needed. • Assisting with flooring installation as needed. The qualifications we are looking for in the position include: • Experience working with hand and power tools. • Ability to work as part of a team. • Experience with other construction trades would be a great asset. Tools will be provided. Competitive wages commensurate with the applicant's experience.
