Rare. Vintage 1950's Mobiloil Mobilfluid Automatic Transmission Fluid Imperial Quart Can. From Mobil Oil of Canada, Ltd. This is an EMPTY can from the 1950-60's for collectible purposes or display. Good condition. There are scratches and scuff marks on the front and around the sides. Re-rolled quart with new top & bottom. It appears that the can was cut beside the seam when flattened so there is a new soldered seam beside the original seam. There are some other soldering marks around the sides where there was a hole covered up. There are a few other little rust holes around the sides and on the back. Overall in clean & displayable condition. Colours are vibrant and the can has a glossy finish. Rare can. Very good addition to any vintage oil can collection. Measures approx- 6 1/2" inches in height, 4" inches in diameter. Maker's mark "CCC 54" for Continental Can Company Plant #54, which was located in Toronto.
