Vintage 1940's Maxwell House Coffee (1 Lb.) Tin. From the General Foods, Limited in Toronto, Ontario. This is an EMPTY tin from the 1940-50's for collectible purposes or display. Good condition. There are some scratches and some scuff marks on the front and around the sides. There is a small area of surface rust on the front of the tin on the graphics and on the back of the tin just above the bottom rim. There is also a small area of dis-colouration on the back of the can on the graphics. There is a sharp area where the key-wind broke off. No top. Overall in displayable condition. Colours are vibrant and the tin is still somewhat glossy and shiny. Double sided. Bi-lingual. Good addition to any vintage advertising collection.
