Vintage 1940's Hub Beverages (8 oz.) ACL Soda Pop Bottle. Hub Beverages - Truro, Nova Scotia. Fair condition. Label on front is heavily damaged. There are scratches and scuff marks on the label and there is also some paint loss. There is a bruise on the front of the bottle at the base edge and there are a few other minor chips around the sides of the body. Overall in displayable condition. Colours are somewhat vibrant. Graphics are still legible. Scarce bottle. Decent addition to any Maritime bottle collection. Measures approx- 8 3/4" inches in height, 2 1/4" inches in diameter at the base, with a 1" inch crown lip. Maker's mark "C in upside down triangle" for Consumer Glass Company.
