Vintage 1940's Four Star Pure Turpentine Imperial Gallon Can. Can is heavily surface rusted around the sides. There are some scratches and some scuff marks around the sides. There are also some dents around the sides. There is a hole drilled on the front of the can, just under the top rim in the center. No top. Overall in displayable condition. Colours are vibrant and the can is somewhat glossy and shiny. Decent addition to any vintage oil can collection. Measures approx- 12 1/4" inches in height, 7 1/2" inches in length, 3 1/4" inches in width. Maker's mark "CCC 59" for Continental Can Company Plant #59, which was located in Montreal.
