Vintage 1940's Ajax Anti-Freeze U.S. Gallon Can. From the Commercial Solvents Corporation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is an EMPTY can from the 1930-40's for collectible purposes or display. Fair condition. There are scratches and scuff marks on the front and around the sides. There is a dent on the seam side of the can. Some fading in the colours. Heavily rusted around the sides and on the bottom. There is a small hole rusted through on the side just above the bottom rim. No top. Overall in displayable condition. Colours are somewhat vibrant. Can is still very legible. Double sided. Scarce can. Good addition to any vintage oil can collection. Measures approx- 7 7/8" inches in height, 6 5/8" inches in diameter. Maker's mark "O.I.C.
