Vintage 1930's Tobin's Coronation Blend Tea (1 Lb.) Tin. From the John Tobin and Co. Limited in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is an EMPTY tin from the late 1930's for collectible purposes or display. Poor condition. There is some surface rust on the front of the tin and there is a large area on the front where the paint has ran and dis-coloured. There are some scratches and some scuff marks around the sides. There are also a few minor dents around the sides. Otherwise in displayable condition. Scarce tin commemorating the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. Decent addition to any vintage advertising collection until a better example is found.
