Vintage 1920's Eagle Gasoline (5 U.S. Gallon) Safety Can. From the Eagle Manufacturing Company in Wellsburg, West Virginia. This is an EMPTY can from around the 1920-30's for collectible purposes or display. Heavy metal can. Good condition. There are scratches and scuff marks on the front and around the sides. Most of the paint has flaked from the top. Overall in displayable condition. Embossed brass badge on the top that says "Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc." Good addition to any vintage advertising collection. Measures approx- 18" inches in height (from bottom of can to top of handle), 11.25" inches in diameter.
